I can only recommend to read it and also I wanted to boost its range a bit with mentioning it here.
It made me think hard about Star Trek and how it also raised me as we currently live in Times that are unpredictable and dark. Star Trek always has been my guiding light my moral compass and with all the episodes in my mind I always had a good reference to reallife situations with “What would Star Trek say about that” or “Was this handled in a episode?”.
I have not watched the latest Series Starfleet Academy yet and also need to check if im good with what happens at paramount and the politcal thing around it. I think I will drop Star Trek from here and go to books and Star Trek roleplaying games like Star Trek Adventures so that I dont feel like a hypocrite and can still have Star Trek in my life.
According to Star Trek there was the horrifying third world war which showed humanity that it needs to evolve its ways and then the contact with the vulcans which helped to build the Utopian Planet Earth that we all know from the series.
I hope it will not come this far and maybe the Vulcans will be our AI systems if it ever gets this far but for now lets live long and prosper.
