As i currently merge Illustrious SDXL LORAs with Kohya_ss I came along two annoying errormessages stopping me from creating them. As this annoyed me and I like to share solutions here my findings.
While LORA merging If you run into this error:
TypeError: Got unsupported ScalarType BFloat16
This means you have not selected SDXL checkbox in Kohya_ss
And it is the same solution for this error when you do a LORA merging SVD
RuntimeError: “svd_cuda_gesvdj” not implemented for ‘Half’
Basically thats it just an annoying little Checkbox unfilled.
