Since almost forever Borderlands exist and I still remember playing it with friends on a LAN session. I’m a big fan of FPS games and also like the minimalistic style that Blizzard is applying to its game design and graphics. Also as a Minecraft fan and loving 8bit Games I should be totally fine about how a game looks and should only go for the content and gameplay.
Nah! I cant, I just cant it looks weird and is stopping me from playing it. Somehow I cant process these Shaders… textures… whatever.. I mean look at it.
I get the comical style design and I also loved the Arcane Series and here is the biggest difference. Arcane has this comical style and other design choices with words that my non graphic designer brain does not know but it looks crisp.
Here come the haters “Booo dude you cant compare a videogame with a movie about a videogame!” and I say that is totally fair! But even when I compare the league of legends game and zoom in without Anti Aliasing it looks better for me.
So what does this long rant about Borderlands bring to anyone. For me just sharing my dislike of this shader stuff that they do with the game. Apart from that I like the lore and that it is a Diablo like shooter but seriously I cant play it.
